Psychology Blog – Author Guidelines
We welcome psychologists, researchers, scholars, students, and mental health professionals to contribute blog articles related to psychology, mental health, and human behaviour. Please follow the guidelines below before submitting your article.
- Scope of the Blog
Articles should be related to psychology or mental health topics such as:
- Mental health awareness
- Counselling and psychotherapy
- Child and adolescent psychology
- Educational psychology
- Workplace psychology
- Positive psychology and well-being
- Social and community psychology
- Psychological research insights
- Stress management and emotional well-being
Articles should aim to educate, inform, and create awareness among the public.
- Article Length
- Minimum: 800 words
- Maximum: 1500 words
- Writing Style
- Use simple and clear language.
- Avoid excessive technical jargon.
- Write in a reader-friendly format.
- Use sub-headings where necessary.
- Originality
- Articles must be original and unpublished.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
- Proper citation must be given if sources are used
- Ethical Considerations
- Do not disclose client identities or confidential information.
- Avoid stigmatizing language.
- Respect cultural and social diversity.
- Structure of the Article
Authors should follow this basic structure:
- Title
- Author Name and Affiliation
- Introduction
- Main Content / Discussion
- Practical Insights or Suggestions
- Conclusion
- References (if any)
- Language
Articles may be submitted in:
- English
- Tamil
- Images and Graphics
- Authors may include relevant images, charts, or illustrations.
- Images should be copyright free or properly credited.
- Author Details
Please include the following details:

- Qualification
- Institutional Affiliation
- Email ID
- Short Author Bio (50–80 words)
- Review Process
- All blog submissions will be reviewed by the editorial team.
- The editorial team reserves the right to edit content for clarity and quality.
Author Guidelines
NOTE :
After acceptance of your manuscript by the Editorial Board, the author(s) are required to submit the following documents via email:
- Completed and signed Combined Submission Form
- Plagiarism Original Report Copy (from a recognized plagiarism detection software)
- Fee Payment Receipt Copy (proof of payment)
All documents must be sent to the official journal email ID within the stipulated time. Failure to submit the required documents may result in delay or cancellation of publication.

Authors must ensure that the plagiarism similarity index is within acceptable limits (preferably below 10–20%). The plagiarism report may be generated using reliable plagiarism checking software such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or other recognized plagiarism detection tools.

The publication fee must be paid only after acceptance of the manuscript by the Editorial Board.
Each author is required to pay the registration fee separately. All listed authors must complete individual payment. Publication process will be initiated only after receiving payment from all authors.
